New Policy Announcement

Dear Patient,

Thank you for putting your trust in us. At Collier Medical Specialists, your health and continued well-being are our primary concerns. We strive to provide you with the highest quality of care and continue to evaluate ways to better accommodate your needs.

After much discussion and thought, we have adopted a new policy.

All patients over the age of 40 are required to receive a comprehensive physical examination each year.

For our patients younger than 40, we strongly encourage, but do not require, annual physicals. For the best comprehensive care, all patients with a chronic condition or on a daily prescription medicine, regardless of age, should receive a physical exam on an annual basis.

Without a doubt, consistent annual examinations obviate a myriad of life-threatening conditions and also help to build a rapport between the patient and doctor. At your physical, we are able to perform a comprehensive examination, administer and/or recommend appropriate screening tests, coordinate your specialist(s) needs, and provide you with current best practice guidelines.

Please work with our office staff to arrange your annual physical if you have not done so in the past year.
